I have decided to bring a lot of my excess hiker gear/supplies to the Kickoff and give it away free.  I have lots of stuff.  First come, first serve.  I will have some BIG boxes full of hundreds of items.  It is stupid for me to store this stuff in my garage.  This will be in additions to the free shelter stake painting, free trail snacks, free pink flamingo shelter stake raffle, free gear weighing, etc., etc.  
 
Also, this year's Pirate SuperSecrets seminar will actually be organized.  I will cover in an logical and simple order scores of backpacking subjects.  I will even have a script to keep me on track.  All seminar participants will get a color copies of the Spring 2007 collector's edition of SuperSecrets and Rhythm of the Trail.  These are two separate documents.  By the way, I will try to keep the seminar to about an hour or so.
 
Anyone else who wants to get rid of their excess gear/supples can bring it over to the Pirate table too.  But you are responsible for picking up anything that is not taken by Saturday at evening dinner time or it goes into the trash can or dumpster.
