Georgi writes: Dunno about Saber Toothed Tigers in Canada,....BUT most any Nobo traveling between Lassen Nat'l Pk. and Old Station from mid September on last summer has perhaps seen some sign of them in that area.  Some may have even gotten a camera shot of same...would anyone share???  Georgi

Actually, giant mutant bears sightings might be something else.  I am now thinking they were thru hiker sightings after Kennedy Meadows.  It is hard to tell the difference between mutant bears and thru hikers after 700 trail miles.  This is logical and reasonable.
 
As far as the saber tooth mountain lion sightings, I am not sure what they are.
