[pct-l] transportation and bear bags

wondering if anyone has any great ideas about how to get from the inyo kern airport to trail pass around july 16th. (or maybe you want to give me a ride?) also, has anyone used those bear bags in the sierras, even though they are not approved. im not sure if this is a big no-no, but the thought of carrying a bag instead of a hard container seems amazing. cheers
