well... no.

in a typical year, mid-june is about the latest you'll see anyone start 
heading nobo. for a sobo hike, mid-june is about the standard starting 
time. i suppose you could start in july heading sobo, but you'd have to 
make some pretty big miles to get thru the sierra before the snow sets in.

again, this is all in a typical weather year.
