[pct-l] New Camera Recommendation

My new recommendation for an ultra  compact hiking camera is the Canon 
PowerShot SD1000.  It is a 7.1-MP, 3X  optical zoom, 2.5-inch LCD.  This camera 
takes super great pictures and  costs $299 list and weighs around 5 ounces with 
battery and memory card.   You probably can get it for under $250.  The Canon 
SD900 is really their  top of the line ultra compact at 10-MP, but cost around 
$500 list, so IMHO  I think the SD1000 is the way to go.
