<The year before last,  a PCT hiker disappeared
between Devils Slide Trail and Black Mtn. Rd above the
town of Idyllwild.  Last I heard, his body has never
been found. >



Actually, John Donovan's campsite was found exactly
one year to the day he went missing in '05.  His
campsite was found by a couple of hikers who had
gotten lost.  His remains were found a short time
later.
