[pct-l] Next years hike

"How's Your Trail"?    Hey gang next year I plan to hike from Kennedy Meadows, climb Mt.Whitney and continue north for approximately 500 miles. My longest hike yet. I was wondering what time of year would be best to avoid skeeters and snow and any bad stuff?  I'm looking at some time after the middle of July but not sure when.  Any advise would help.
