Hello........................
  Anyone out there ever wanted to go hike in Italy or Switzerland or even to New Zea land. Or if your budget minded how about the Backbone trail in the Santa Monica's in Los Angles, Mokelumne trail where John Muir traveled; a favorite of many folks on the PCT is the Goat Rocks where Scrambler will guide us through or my favorite, the Grand Canyon........... If you are at all interested in one of these trails or all of them for that matter then your in luck. 
   
  Come to the Aldha West gathering Sept. 28-30 at Sierra Pines in the Tahoe area. Come and join Aldha for 15$ a year membership and then a modest fee for the weekend for the conference. You can buy the whole weekend for 95$ which includes food and lodging or BYOT  (tent)or even BYOF (food) and save some money if you want...
  Come and join in the fun and see some old familiar faces of hiker friends from past years....
   
  Come meet people you have only read about on trail journals, lots of triple crowners will be there including our new additions for 2007. Come meet Brice Hammack, perhaps our oldest triple crown winner who's a young 88 years old and still hikes a few miles every year....
   
  If you ever dreamed about doing the AT, PCT or CDT or any other long trail come meet people who have hiked them all.....I think Aldha is one of the best places to see others who are like yourself in the enjoyment of the big outdoors......
