I am going in This coming Monday for a little arthroscopic surgery to trim
my tear.  I went through the Physical therapy thing for a torn muscle injury
above my knee area.  Now I find this.

Not my personal injury, but Jeff's -- sounds hauntingly similar.  His was
torn meniscus.  He's had it in both knees (one knee twice), and had to have
arthroscopic surgery to trim the tear(s).  The good news is that after
recovery from surgery, he is back to everything he did before:  hiking,
trail running, and martial arts.
