Thought I'd chime in as a reader of the two sites. But first, I admit change is not always easy for me.

I just went to both sites, and for this "older" woman Scott's site is too good - he has far too much information for me. I get distracted and all but lost with all the highlights of many different sites, etc. And yet, I can well see where that would be a positive for the younger folks (I'm sticking with Georgi). Finally for whatever it's worth I would never want to patronize a site that has such a bold, negative agenda about another pct activity. According to my Momma, that's just plain bad manners (and rather unprofessional).

As for Trail Journals, it rings familiar to me, which is always a plus. And, it does not hit me with over loaded pages of information.

So, for whatever it's worth, probably not much, there you have it from one who reads the journals of many folks.
