[pct-l] Equinox Ultra lite Bear Bag

Hanging food from trees is no longer allowed in areas in the Sierras -- too
ineffective and too many trees needlessly damaged, not to mention lines and
bags hanging from trees that their owners could not retrieve.

I don't think you will find this as useful as you might expect.

You won't be able to use it legally in the SIBBG controlled areas of the
Sierra. Neither will you be able to use an Ursack in those areas.
Finding the right tree to hang a bear bag from will be problematic in
many areas. Bears can easily get to hung food unless it is hung just
right, and that depends on just the right tree being found in just the
right location.

Since you will have to use a bear canister in the areas where bear
encounters are most likely, the question then becomes what is the best
way to keep mice, marmots, raccoons, squirrels, etc. out of your food in
other areas. That I don't have an answer for. Any takers?
