[pct-l] cascade locks-white pass hike

I went through there in late June of 05, and there was no snow, just 
frighteningly treacherous mud/scree/talus.  There was a 50 yard section 
where every step (IN RAIN AND FOG) was an exercise of grabbing jello 
with the edge of my running shoe.  For some reason Packwood glacier has 
the rep, when it's really the slope just north of it before you turn 
north down the knife edge that's dangerous.  The glacier is relatively 
flat...
