As of Wednesday 89 had signed the register at the Anza cache, and "a number of hikers" were in Big Bear on Thursday.

I didn't take a daily count.

I did the count twice.  My impression was that the activity really
kicked in around 4/15.  I believe I counted about 150 by 4/21, so 100+
started between 4/21 and 4/25.
