[pct-l] Level playing field

Both, of course!  I plan to start out trying for the fastest, and when that 
fails, I'd be in position for the slowest.  The biggest problem will be who 
will keep track of my time?  Maybe I should just have a stamp with my trail 
moniker, so I don't waste time at trail registers...
