While two little old senior citizens were walking from Tuolumne Meadows to LeConte Canyon, we came across a lot of hikers going south to north.  We   were going north to south. We  always stopped  and got off the trail to let the oncoming hikers go by because we were very slow.  Two men were getting ready to go by us, we moved over to let them go by and my friend asked her ususal question,  "Thru hiking or JMTing?"  Thru hiking it was.  These fellows stopped and talked with us and then I recognized Scott.  Very pleasant young men they were.
