Well, I thru'd in 08 and _did_ go to Ramona Falls. In fact, I arrived right at dusk and camped just a little ways away since I tarried too long at lunch in Timberline Lodge. I'd been looking for a cabin reputed to be in the vicinity, but never found it so set up my tent as rain was forecast overnight. I strongly recommend this little side trip. Handlebar
