Hey Andy,
Nice to hear from you again...Yes Steve Ropers guide to the  SHR  is a 
good one.
I meant to hike the  SHR  for some time now, but always seem to wind up 
on the JMT instead every year.
Thru-hiked it nine times now and still the JMT fever is growing stronger 
every year.
Like sex, once bitten forever hooked.
I must make a concentrated effort to hike the  SHR  soon.
However, a love affair, such as mine , with the JMT is hard to break.
