[pct-l] Bugs on the Trail

Since I use the SunPrecautions.com hat with full drape, that really is great against bugs. I have their long sleeve shirt I always hike in too. Usually, just a short shot of Deet around the bill of the hat will keep the bugs away. I do carry a simple netting to slip over my hat if it super bad on the trail or in camp. But that is about it. The Deet spray is in an half ounce container I got at CVS Pharmacy in their small container section.

One thing I like to do is lay in my tent and put my hand with fingers spread apart next to the tent inside. The bugs make a perfect hand outline. Really funny. Then I pull my hand back quickly and flip them into craziness. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Of course, this makes them mad too. :-)
