[pct-l] Seattle-area Hikers?

You could always go out to the Olympic Peninsula. Take the ferry to 
Bainbridge Island then buses out to Port Angeles. I did a cross the 
Peninsula walk last April from Port Angeles to Lake Quinalt, from 
where you can take a bus back to Port Angeles. Good for a several 
day getaway. Just anticipate plenty of snow over Low Divide and 
possibly down the other side. Longer options are of course possible 
but I found that meant a lot of snow.

Another option out there without the snow would be a coastal walk. 
The same bus originating at Lake Quinalt makes stops at several 
locations on the coast convenient for pickup dropoff to the trail.

I'm in Portland now but may be back in Seattle the second half of 
March. I was thinking of heading that way for a hike myself.
