Greg:  At the Kickoff, you and I gotta have a leeetle talk about  hiking 
10,000 years ago.  Have you weighed a mammoth hide lately?  And  why on earth 
would I want to leave Washington and all its yummy salmon sushi and  huckleberries 
behind?

PS.  Do you still have that route map for the Paleolithic trail,  Siberia to 
Tierra del Fuego?  Now that's my fantasy  hike.
