I'm surprised no one has mentioned duct tape as a solution to treating 
and preventing blisters.  While I haven't had a blister in years because 
I found shoes that fit, I remember being incensed and disgusted with the 
inability of moleskin to stick - either kind.  I tried adhesive tape and 
this works better than moleskin, but still tended to curl at the edges. 

Duct tape - the way to a man's heart...
