The instructor in our WFA class this past weekend recommended tincture of benzoin on the skin around (but not touching) the blister to make the moleskin stick. Haven’t tried it, but that’s what was recommended.

I didn't have any luck with moleskin or tape. Perhaps my feet were unusually sweaty and they couldn't stick, but anything I stuck on my feet ended up in a ball near my toes causing more problems than they solved. Is there a trick to applying that stuff?

  1) correct fitting footwear

  2) the minute you feel a hotspot STOP and put moleskin of masking tape on it

  3) stay home
