i think it's common courtesy on the trail to make sure whoever is in 
earshot is OK w/ your jamz before commencing said jamz. some folks like 
a little music in camp, but many folks decidedly do not, or maybe only 
under special circumstances.

...but if you play "sweet home alabama," you may just get what you 
deserve...! ;)

oh, and don't forget hiker midnite = 9pm.
