For anyone following the last few days' thread of the above subject,
please note that I was mistaken and sadly so in my earlier post today on
the subject.  In that post I mistakenly stated that Jeff Singewald had
shared with list subscribers the content of an off-list message I had sent
to him.  He hadn't done that, but rather had replied to me off-list.   I
was mistaken, not having correctly read the header of an email from that
was only to me, not the list.

As my mistaken assertion regarding Jeff was made publicly, this public
apology is appropriate,  as is a private one.
