Tortoise asked about Mad Monte Dodge's find of a large
human-like print found in '77 just off the PCT:

Monte explained that the muddy area wasn't all that
large, so I suppose the maker of the print might have
only plopped down one foot in the area.  He found this
approx. 60 ft. up off the trail in a very remote area
of the Trinity Alps Wilderness while following a seep
up in search of water....a very odd place for a hoaxer
to have left something.
