[pct-l] how fast do feet change

we always called it a "double knot"....after tying them, just cross the
bow over again and give it a half hitch tie and tighten it down-- same
thing you do with little kids that you don't want to untie their shoes.
Stay tied all day, and easy enough to untie at breaks, and evening time
when you want to take them off. Hope this helps?

Since I wear a men's boot to start with, I usually have plenty of
"expansion" room. *L* I plan on going a half size up and can work with
my laces too, as always have plenty of room to expand with those.
However, I have yet to experience foot swelling when hiking, even on
multi-day hikes. I usually have more problems with that if I'm sitting
around.

Currently testing out a pair of Merrell's 3/4 height boots to see how
they perform and fit-- so far I really like the way they fit my feet,
and the "break-in" is absolutely minimal. They fit nicely right out of
the box, and won't break the budget. Now, to see how well they hold
up.........they make a low top trail shoe too.

Peace all, have a great weekend..its stormin up here in WA state once again!
