[pct-l] camping near Mt Ashland

I read in the Guidebook that we can get water at the Ashland Inn.  I also see that most of the land in the vicinity is private land.  Is there anywhere close to the Inn where we can camp?  
 
If not, how far would it be to the next possible place to camp (two small tents)?  Is the Mt Ashland Campground the last possible place to camp before we reach the Inn?
