[pct-l] Dogs and Canada

I am a section hiker and my husband and I hope to complete our final section
in early August from Snoqualmie Pass to Manning Park. My question is
this--according to what I have been able to learn, all we need is his
current vaccination papers to cross the border and back--has anyone else
done this? If so, can you confirm that this is so? I will feel better if I
knew that someone had experience with it.

And by the way, before anyone gets upset about another dog on the trail, our
giant border collie has hiked most of the trail with us-- is a very good
trail dog, experienced hiker, doesn't chase or bite people and his paws are
just fine.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
