It's Mt. Shasta... That's Shastina on the left (western) flank, so the I think view is actually more to the Northeast or North-northeast than the East...

I'll be down in that smoke in a couple of days when I head for NorCal and the Marbles/Salmons/Trinity Alps...

Thanks for the 'smoke' update photos - I was wondering how bad it was (unfortunately, now I know!)...
