Switchback replies: You  could not be more right.  Last year at the Kickoff 
they asked me to talk  some about proper conduct on the trail {they thought I 
would draw the crowd that  might need it at the SuperSecret seminar :-))}.  I 
made up a flyer on  the subject and will have it available again this year at 
the  Kickoff.
 
What I tell people in  my public speaking activities in schools & colleges, 
senior groups, etc., is  that if you do not help the police, then you are 
helping the crooks.  If  the police do not enforce the laws, then they are 
promoting law breakers.   Civic duty is not something someone else does.  The same for 
the  trail.
