Really I'm not making this up--I have heard about this long haired guy with grayish white image lurking around Warner Springs. He is actually an extreme ultralight thru hiker who has reached the zen state of being able to eliminate his body weight while hiking. This extreme ultralight state is inconvient in town and can interfere with celebratory beer drinking so I think he mails himself a bounce body box at every town. What is really neat is that in this ultralight form he doesn't have to wait for the post office to open to acess his body box . Some might say he has taken ultralight one step too far, but I will looking for him eagerly because I am so envious.
