You can buy 8gb cards now on sale for about $139, which is a great per-gb 
deal. I didn't fill one in nearly a month in Italy last fall! Even at 
large .jpg setting on an 8 megapixel camera, my counter didn't drop below 
999 until the last few days -- 3000-4000 pics enough?
