[pct-l] Passports required this year?

The way I read the webpage the government is postponing the stricter 
passport requirements due to budget cuts.  I think it said they would 
implement the new requirements in 2009.

Looks like the US Govt changed the standards yet again.. :)

Still, a passport is probably easiest of all if you have the time.
