There's a post office in Independence, so no need to send to the Courthouse
Motel.  Also, most hikers hitch to Bridgeport rather than the Northern
Kennedy Meadows, though I am especially fond of that place and look forward
to their rebuilding.

I think this was mentioned before, but...I called KM North this
morning.  I was told that they have not started rebuilding yet, but
expect to be able to have something rebuilt, and be able to hold
packages, by sometime in June.  May might be a problem.  Sounds like
one might want to check again closer to your mailing date.

And FWIW, I called the Courthouse Motel in Independence and they will
hold packages.
