[pct-l] Tarps and Scorpions

I'm a tarp user in the mountains, but I mostly use a tent
in the desert nowadays, mainly for one reason: friggin' MICE!
It seems like there's always one that sets up shop about
six inches from my head, and skitters around all night
long, making it impossible for me to sleep.

(Also everything gets full of dust and sand if you sleep
out in the desert.)
