When I did my thru hike in 03 I wore Brooks Trail Runners, size 12. When I bought my 4th pair in Oregon, I was up to a size 13.  Last year, from Campo to Agua Dulce, I wore a size
13-1/2.  Last week, I bought a new pair of Brooks.  Now I am up to size 14.  Long distance hikers' feet may never quit growing.  I have been a runner for 28 years, during which time my shoe size never changed.
