I have used Yaktrax in the Grand Canyon to deal with icy conditions
descedning into the canyon. They worked well for me. But I have not used
them for more than a few miles at a time.

Does anyone have an opinion on using Yaktrax? ?

Also is fuel for a Jetboil readily available on the trail? I get at least
30
days from a canister and I really dislike liquid fuel of any type.
