My suggestions might be a little far north for you... Do NOT eat at CharBurger (Near Bridge of the Gods) Blech!!
 
There are great differences in the taste of food! The CharBurger is a very popular place to eat among PCTers, I had a couple of great meals there. Maybe it's because they use more than one pot!  ;)
 
On instant mashed potatoes, some like garlic and oysters - no thanks! I'll stick with cheese and plain potatoes. Too each his own!
