I used a Sawyers inline filter on my section hike. I had an MSR dromedary bag that I got a on/off valve and hooked it right into the filter. My out hose was from my Katadyn and fit a Platypus or most disposable plastic water bottles. I liked it because it was quick and easy. I had potable water almost right away.
