Time is quickly approaching where work must begin towards creation of the 2008 PCT dvd. To date, this hiker is unaware of a 2008 thru hiker announcing he or she will edit the 2008 dvd. SO, THIS IS A CALL FOR A 2008 THRU HIKING EDITOR TO STEP FORWARD AND ACCEPT THIS PROJECT. This is a monumental task; one where you will need to devote an estimated 1000 hours of your personal time. Of course, the rewards will be an eternally grateful Class of 2008, and your satisfaction of working with all the hikers and trail angels assembling a lasting record of those who hiked the trail and trail conditions for the 2008 season. 

If a thru hiker is willing to undertake this project, of if anyone knows of a hiker still on the trail wanting to create the dvd, please let myself and the lists know before October 15, 2008. This project must begin by that date in order to assemble the huge amount of data (hiker lists, photos, music) required for creation of the dvd.

If no one is willing to undertake this project, I will gladly accept the challenge.  It would be an privledge and an honor.
