[pct-l] re. It's getting Cold in the Cascades

Wow! During my August section hike of Oregon, that last week I was feeling that it would be an early winter. Suddenly the days got much shorter, it cooled off, and I noticed that the Fireweed was on it's last blossom in many areas. Glad I saved Washington for another year.
 
Good luck to this year's thru-hikers and hike fast (and safe).
