[pct-l] An apology

Don't worry about it Laraine. IMHO you simply asked if anyone knew anyone
that could help. I have asked in my church if anyone had a truck I could
borrow to move a couch. It is not unusual to engage any community for "off
topic" help.

You did not insult, attack, or make any rude comments about someone's
intelligence or otherwise. You did not call names or make wild
fear-sledding gestures. Sure, it was off topic. If you had posted your need
to buy a good used car . . . I guess it is just a sensitive time of year.

Personally and publicly, I am glad to see anyone involved in the process as
our country runs on that participation. Even when I disagree with a view
point, I am happy to know they care. That is of course as long as they are
not using their difference of opinion to make personal attacks on me.
Then, as you might imagine, I feel differently.

Next time just buy a car instead :-)

Be well,

Pink Gumby

Subject: [pct-l] An apology

Re. my recent post asking if anyone knew of housing in the Reno area (where
I'm spending the month of October campaigning) . . . . .

I sincerely apologize for being off-topic, I didn't mean to introduce an
inappropriate political conversation, rather looked at the list as a
possible resource to fill my need.

Yours for the trail,
