Yes, once again, Switchback the Trail Pirate, will be at campsite #22 this year.? The Hiker Box of extra gear will be there too.? If you have any gear you want to donate for other hikers, etc., then just come by Kickoff Friday and Saturday to drop it off and look around for gear you might need.? Last year it was amazing how many people found things they needed for their hike.? Lots of action at the Hiker's Box - Treasure Chest.

The Lair table will be full of exciting hiker treats and other goodies.? Get your shelter stake painted fluorescent orange, your gear weighed, and get your copy of Rhythm of the Trail personally signed.

Just look for the large pirate flag on the south side of the park for the Pirate's Lair.

Also, do not forget the hiker communal dinners at Warner Springs Resort on Wednesday and Thursday at the dinning room at 5:30 PM.? Pay as you go unless you want to buy Switchback his dinner.?
