[pct-l] Fire near Old Station

We arrived in Old Station Monday afternoon and left to go around the
fire via Redding Tuesday afternoon. When we left yesterday the
Heitmans were fine and the fields surrounding their property were
intentionally flooded. There were 5 firetrucks on standby on the road
near their home. The wind was blowing to the North and sometimes to
the East, away from their home most of the time. Planes were dropping
water and fire retardant all day Monday but had not started again
Tuesday when we left late morning.

Tuesday morning they went to talk to a fire chief and they said that
at that time the Hat Creek Rim would be a "really stupid place to be
right now."
