[pct-l] trail maintenance

The PCT is maintained by defined standards as to width, grade, and building
methods. If it were rated by skier standards, it would probably be a blue
square (intermediate). There are experts-only black diamond and double
black diamond trails out there for those who seek greater challenges . . .
but the PCT isn't one of them.

Subject: [pct-l] trail maintenance

In regards to some of these trail maintenance ideas, the question is what
would you like to experience, a well manicured foot freeway, or a relatively
primitive trail. The latter sounds much more adventerous to me.
Just my newcomer two cents
