According to the USFS Fire Permit ( http://tinyurl.com/2yv3ek ), when Fire Restrictions are in effect (most of the time in SoCal), you may use ONLY a portable stove with gas, jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuel outside of developed recreation sites, or designated fire use areas.



Had this been followed, a couple of fires would have be averted, homes and lives saved.



Be careful out there....
