Incorrect.  Because the PCT is an unguarded border crossing there are additional rules.

I'm pretty sure it has been discussed here before but I think it is illegal to pass from Canada back into the US via the PCT. While Canada has procedures for the unguarded crossing, the US simply forbids the crossing.
