[pct-l] Base Weight Reduction

Some years ago I used to follow an AT Backpacking list which offered the 
opportunity to send in ones gear list, have it examined and commented on. It 
was a great service for the less experienced who received ideas on how to 
greatly reduce ones base weight and do without some inessentials. I have 
tried to locate the list again but without success. Does anyone know of it? 
And.........would it be a worthwhile exercise to incorporate this exercise 
here on the PCT  List ?
