[pct-l] Trail Running Shoes so great?

We have developed a habit of using antifungal cremes to toughen our feet. It
dries the feet and makes the skin more leathery. It works well for us.
Marcia just heard about fish with antifungal. I'm not sure what the story
was, but they were suspicious that it may have been carcinogenic. So we need
to re-look at using lots of antifungal.

Maybe that's why my feet are growing so big ;)

If you have trouble with splitting heels you might want to be careful
toughening you feet. Watch those heavy calluses.

Great question.
Walk up and down hills at least 10 or 20 miles a week before coming out to
thru-hike.
Try to keep your feet dry while you are doing this so your feet can toughen
up.
