[pct-l] Bleach?

I carried a filter and used it everywhere except a few places where  
water came directly out of the rock. It was a pain in the neck to use  
during/after the sierra, and I envied those who could fill up a  
bottle, squirt some stuff in it and hike on, but I prefer clean water  
to chemical soup with floaties.
